Pneumatic valve actuators are mainly divided into single-acting and double-acting, and there are many types.
Pneumatic Valves Actuator
Pneumatic valve actuator is powered by compressed air and is the driving device for opening and closing pneumatic ball valves, pneumatic butterfly valves, pneumatic gate valves, pneumatic globe valves, pneumatic diaphragm valves, pneumatic control valves and other pneumatic series of angular stroke valves. It is an ideal device for realizing centralized or independent control of industrial automation pipelines in long distances.
Pneumatic Valves Actuator Actuated single or double acting

Double-acting: When the air source pressure enters the middle cavity between the two pistons of the cylinder from the air port, the two pistons are separated and moved toward both ends of the cylinder, the air in the air cavities at both ends is discharged through the air port, and the two piston racks simultaneously drive the output shaft. (gear) rotates counterclockwise.
Single-acting: When the air source pressure enters the middle cavity between the two pistons of the cylinder from the air port, the two pistons are separated and moved toward both ends of the cylinder, forcing the springs at both ends to compress, and the air in the air cavities at both ends is discharged through the air port. The rack synchronously drives the output shaft (gear) to rotate counterclockwise.
